Variety is the spice of life.
I love the mission-based brand building work I do with our clients. One week, I can be thinking about building a brand to become a global tech leader, and the next, I can be thinking about building a brand that enhances the economic stability of the local community of Dornoch in the Highlands of Scotland.
If you’ve visited Dornoch, you’ll know it’s a special place. If you haven’t, I recommend you take the trip and base yourself in Dornoch while you explore the North Coast 500. Your shoulders will drop several inches on the first day, and you’ll have said, ‘Wow, look at that’ at least a dozen times!
I have enjoyed the journey north to Dornoch from Edinburgh many times over the years for work and holidays. It takes you all the way up the A9, across the Moray, Cromarty, and Dornoch Firths, and into Sutherland, where the sky seems to open up and light the most beautiful landscapes.
So, it’s a real pleasure for me and the Elastic Creative UK team to work with the Dornoch Business Improvement District (BID) team to build the town’s brand and promote Dornoch as a year-round destination for visitors from all over the world.
We are all very proud to have recently unveiled the captivating new brand and website.
The new brand identity design reflects Dornoch’s rich heritage and stunning coastal setting.
The new website highlights the vibrant community, serving as a central hub for locals and visitors. It features information on things to do, events, activities, food and drink, accommodations, local shops, services, and attractions. The website is highly searchable, allowing visitors to easily explore all the town has to offer and plan their stay.
There’s a huge variety of things to see and do for all the family.
