Cake Stories – The Right Ingredients for a Big Brand Personality

A feast for the eyes and for the tastebuds!

The Cake Stories Bakehouse uses the very best ingredients to pack the biggest flavour punch and the best textures into their signature bakes – tangy, zesty, chocolatey, caramely, buttery, fruity, sometimes boozey, fluffy, crumbly, silky, chewy, there’s something to delight everyone’s taste buds.

This was our inspiration for the development of a big impact, big personality brand – to support Cake Stories big plans for growth. We added colour, fun, a big helping of the unexpected – and mixed – to create a wow factor brand experience which would tie together the coffee shops, ecommerce and advertising on social platforms.

The websites and e-commerce for both consumers and wholesale are a joy to design and populate and are filled with the joy of sharing cake with friends. High quality photography, film, animation and illustration make up the rich and engaging brand content which allows Cake Stories to really stand out and increase its market share.

The unique packaging designs, created using paper stocks made from recycled coffee cups, protect the precious cakey contents in delivery, and provide an exciting unboxing experience for the recipients.

We thoroughly enjoy thinking creatively about cake – and with cake this good, who wouldn’t!

Elastic took us on a fun, thoughtful journey with our brand, bringing to life the ideas and hopes we had for it and really giving us space to play with it. We ended up with branding which was much more authentic to our company than we'd had before, packaging which elevated our product and presented it cleverly and gorgeously, and a beautiful website which has had loads of brilliant feedback ever since!
